Burtons? the place that sells flowers?

Yes. They do both flowers and gowns. Flowers downstairs, gowns upstairs. Call them, they'll get you a quote and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a good deal less than everywhere else. When you call their #, you get the phone tree and there is an option for gowns. Choose that one and you'll get one of the girls, though it will likely be Carol that gets/gives you the quote.

Try www.bridepower.com - I got my Melissa Sweet gown there for like 1/2 price. Shipping is only like $30 or so and price includes cleaning & minor repairs!!!

I would check the seller's review just incase and they probably start the bidding low so it would attract other buyers to make a bidding war. Good luck and the dress is BEAUTIFUL!!!!

Did you win the auction?

As for sizing, get measured and see what it correponds to! I'm a street size 4 or 27, and the sample at Lillette's was a 10 and fit me perfectly. We decided [tentatively] to go with a 12 just in case, because it's a lot easier to make something smaller than larger. I thought ordering the 10 would be motiviation to stay in shape and eat healthy, but it's not worth the risk in the case that I gain a few lbs in the next year.

It's possible the sizing varies by dress, but I've never been anything close to a 10 or 12 in my entire life!

Keep in mind that if you buy the dress from eBay, you will have to find a seamstress to alter it for you.

If you buy at a shop, then the alterations will be done there. Try both Lillette's and Burton's for the lowest prices.

I would definetly try Burtons as some girls have suggested. I found a dress that was out of my price range at the shop that I originally went to try it on. I called Burtons (on a tip from my Aunt....thank you Aunt Cathy!!) and they gave me a quote over $400 less then everywhere else.
I <3 Carol @ Burtons....shes a sweetheart

Re: Paloma Blanca 3609

I am a Paloma Blanca gown lover as well I have not tried any dress on yet, but I am planning to next month. I have been doing my research on what I like. I decided that I will first find a seller that carries the gown in town. I will try it on, and then come home and do my research for prices online. I found a site that has your dress for a little less than $1400. I don't know if this is low or not, but I though I will help. Good luck
