Pan flute/harpist for wedding ceremony

My FH was curious about hiring someone to play the pan-flute at our wedding. I have never seen anyone play it but it looks like this:

I am also interested in hiring a harpist. Would anyone know where I could contact either of these type of musicians?

FH says it sounds very haunting and a bit 'watery' but not in a bad way. So we'll see. I thought he would want a bagpiper b/c he is Irish but he said 'no that's more scottish!' (I don't think it really matters!)

I play the regular flute, not the pan flute, but in my honest opinion, it may be very hard to find someone who plays the pan flute professionally. Call the local colleges to see about a harpist. If not, it might cost an arm and a leg for one! But I could help you out if you want!

Taht's a really good idea about colleges. Five Towns College might be a good place to try.

I know someone that is a manager for a traditional/folk band so he might know oof someone but I odn't want to ask him b/c I 'm not inviting him to the wedding! LOL

Thanks for the tip and if I get stuck I will be in touch w/ you!

Did you try posting this on the vendor board? I'm sure someone there can help you.

Good luck!
