Panicked

I sent my invites out yesterday..BUT I still dont have anyone marrying me!
I want an interfaith Rabbi ( or even a judge) and everyone I have called ( erlich, applestone) Does not call me back.
I have been calling them for weeks now.
Forget them.. I need someone to meet with me NOW..
I have searched the boards and came up with a rabbi Lowenheim? I guess I'll call him Monday..
Surely Long Island must have more Rabbi's or Judges.
Please Help me.. 7 more weeks and no officiant..
I'll ask over on the vendor board as well

we had the same problem with a different rabbi definatley let know CB know what is going on! Did u think to try the clergy at a nursing home? My sister did that for her inetrfaith ceromony.The rabbi from the nursing home was more than willing to do it .

You are getting married at the Chateau Briand? If so, you should keep calling Rabbi Applestone, I don't know what is in your contract, but in mine (Westbury Manor) part of the fees of the whole thing is for the clergy ($300) I was playing phonetag with Dr Ehrlich for few weeks until finally we got in touch. Keep trying for a couple of days ... leave a desperate message in Appelstone voice mail, and if you have cell or any other phone number besides home, leave in the message. If in a week he does not get back to you, you should talk to your BM at CB ... you are paying also for this service.

It is not included in anything unless I use him.
It just worries me that if someone is so unreliable why would I be dumb enough to use them.
This IS the biggest day of my life.
Will he show up?

I posted in a thread about ordaining a friend to do it...you can always do that in a pinch....and the friend can perform a Jewish ceremony...anything you want
