Panicking!

Panicking!

My e-party is next week and we still dont have table linens! FH didnt know if he wanted to rent or buy and now it's too late to rent from the place our hall reconmennded and he doesn't want plastic b.c. he thinks it will look tacky. And now I'm second guessing the centerpieces we bought cause his parents don't like them and I keep thinking that people are going to think they look stupid. (They're decorated (regular size) margarita glasses and we're going to float a candle in them and put some colored votives on the tables with them).
Also the votives are blue and the plates are white - FH doesnt want white table cloths now he wants blue ones and I dont even know which will look better at this point and I dont even know where to look I have been everywhere!
Someone please give some sort of suggestion - I'm losing it.

Re: Panicking!

First off...........calmn down. If you stress out your not going to get anywhere. And your only going to stress yourself out even more. It's not worth it b/c you can't make everyone happy. Just make yourselves happy, that's all that counts.

Try stores that have tabel linins. Go to JCPenny, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, Linins & Things.

Personally I think your centers sound really pretty. If you can't get blue linens to match. Go with white. They don't have to be expensive.

If you and the FH like the centers that's all that matters. Don't worry b/c you can't please everyone!
Relax, AND HAVE A GREAT TIME AT YOUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY!

ok calm down!!! I agree with the last post! You can go to Kohls too they always have good sales. Even try stores like Big Lots who knows what they have there stuff always changes!!!

I think your centerpieces sound great!

I would say definitely try Kohls... they always have table linens 50% off. No one is going to say, 'Oh my God, white plates and tablecloth?' Dont worry too much about the little stuff! It will all work out fine.
