Panty Lines....

Panty Lines....

Why oh why do panty lines still exist?? I was watching some show on 'bootie' on VH1 last night and they had a whole segment about how thongs changed the world of fashion forever. So of course I am walking to work and all I saw were panty lines. I mean to each his own I guess, but don't people look at there butt in the mirror before they leave the house?..lol

I am a standard thong wearer, so maybe that is why it urks me to see panty lines. I wear thongs with everything, tight or loose.

OMG I thought I was the only one with an insane pet peeve of panty lines. Drives me up the wall. If I am on the train or anywhere and I see panty lines I try and give her the benefit of the doubt and think ok that time of the month panties, but wear looser pants then.

Just like you I am a standard thong wearer. I just cant stand panty lines. Some people have no clue or no mirror

Chippatrid, even if it is 'that time of the month' and you are inclined to not wear tampons, they now sell pads made for thongs, so there is no excuse..lol

Or again, don't wear tight tan pants and baggy grandma undies!

Okay, I am very much anti-pantyline, but now that I'm wearing white pants again, the panty line is almost necessary. And it kills me, but its true, because I have been accused (or rather, questioned by a dirty old man in a bar) of not wearing underwear because he couldn't see my panty line (hello, with nude thong you're not supposed to see anything ). Now every time I wear those pants I stare at my butt in the mirror, making sure it looks like I'm wearing underwear because otherwise dirty old men talk to me.

OMG LOL!!!

I had this huge discussion with my best friend because she said to me 'why dont you just wear dental floss and a band aid'

I like my dental floss. I am not 75 so I am not wearing grandma undies. Their is no need for it.

Hmmm... I have yet to find a perfectly comfortable thong. I wear them, but I MUCH prefer the regular 'ol kind. Victoria's Secret sells the 'invisible' kind so you can't see the pantyline... those are the best. Sure you have to look good, but I prefer comfort over appearance (except when it comes to SHOES!! I don't care if they make my feet bleed, as long as they look good I'm wearin' 'em!!).

Re: Panty Lines....

I would rather a dirty old man think I am not wearing anything than strut around with panty lines. But I hear what you are saying. Shady old pervs need to keep their mouths shut!

Then again, sometimes even a thong shows, so I am not ashamed to go commando either..lol

Include me in the panty line peevers. I am still able to wear my own undies, but I was so glad to discover maternity thongs just in case I need to graduate to bigger 'wears!

Calvin Klein has a great seamless undie too...low-rise to boot. Tres comfy. But I'm a thong wearer about 97% of the time. The other 3% I'm wearing seamless so tehre's no lines. Can't_stand_the_lines.

I don't wear thongs unless 100% necessary. I used to wear them all the time everyday for 3 years. Then one day I developed a weird butt pain. It got so bad I couldn't SIT... I had to go to the DR and she told me that it was from wearing the thongs.. so now I don't unless I have to... but I do check my rear in the mirror before leaving the house...

Re: Panty Lines....

I always make sure I don't have panty lines. With some pants you just HAVE to wear a thong. But with other pants, if I can wear regular undies, that's what I do.

I also get irritated in various areas if I've been in a thong too long, like all day or something.

My GYN also told me they are very unhealthy because you've got this part that goes right against your butt, where there are lots of germs, and as the thong moves a little it can introduce butt germs into your ah-hem, you know, area and cause a nasty infection. GROSS!

So I wear thongs when necessary (or for sexy reasons), but I take them off ASAP!!! I try not to spend all day in them.

I too have been wearing them a lot more often.
I do find that Visctoria Secrets has the most comfortable ones. All I have are the silk ones.
I will not wear one if it is not necessary,
But Im finding that you see more of a line when I wear regular silk underwear.

Has anyone tried the no pany line panties. Do they work??
