Pantyhose with open toe shoes?

Original post by hugs213

I have a wedding in Virginia this weekend and I'm wearing a halter dress that comes above the knee and open toe shoes. I know I'm going to be freezing in that damn dress. Can I get away with wearing pantyhose with open toe shoes? fishnets maybe?

I don't extend an exception to fishnets, and as trendy as they are right now, I'm still not a fan.
