Paper Presentation this weekend

We went to PaperPresentation this weekend to look at supplies for DIY invites - its really a great store - lots and lots of stuff - i could stay in there for hours We picked out everything we would need for our invites, we asked about printing & got a quote and when we got home we figured out how much it would cost per invite - i think it would cost about $7.50 an invite but its hard to say because they quoted us on printing for 150 invites and they were just gaving us an idea (they told us $585 including the cardstock, printing and cutting) but when we got home we realized we'd only need 130 invites - today i'm going to email some vendors and see if they can compete with that price....if anyone knows any invite vendors please FM me...i tried attaching a picture of the invite we are using for inspiration - we'd even do similair colors - very similair to my BM dress...

We also went to look at Breitlings - FH is torn between two watches - the Super Avenger and the Breitling Bently 6.75 - he always said he wanted the 6.75 and now all of a sudden he really likes the Super Avenger - the Super Avenger is much cheaper than the 6.75 and i keep telling him not to worry about the price and to pick the watch that he loves - im not sure if he really likes the cheaper watch or if he doesnt want me to spend too much money I think we are going to purchase it at Kenjo - so far they gave the best prices - Torneau as usual was a waste of time and I hate going to that store because they always give us a hard time when it comes to prices....

I have to say that Paper Presentation is a really cool store and totally worth checking out if you are thinking about DIYing.....I'll probably go there and get supplies for when I make my ceremony programs

Isn't it the greatest store??? I love it there. That's where i got my menu and program papers and placecard paper. I wanted the exact paper that was used on my invite and they carried it, they have EVERYTHING. There's also another store a couple of doors down, Print Icon, they have paper stuff too and they also do every kind of printing.

yea you should be able to play games with the diff invite co.s and get a better price. JUST BE CAREFUL!!!! Take a note from Denise's book, sometimes when its too good to be true, it usually is!

I will have to check out Paper presentation too. Everyone seems to love it and I want to do menus and progrmas, even though Fh thinks theyre a waste of $$.

Nicole, i would just get the supplies there and not have them printed. If they print it for you then its going to cost you what it normally costs to buy invites elsewhere. I had printing done elsewhere, hey even go to kinkos or somewhere like that. I only bought the supplies and cardstock there and had them cut the paper that is it. My invites are coming out to about $3 each or 3 and change something like that. I am paying half of what it was going to cost me. FMIL used a printing company she does business with so thats how i did my printing

great point jess. The lady i used did advertise the best prices on the net for those type of invites. But she takes LOOOOOOONG to make them, after i order from her of course i see one of her feedbacks and somebody was complaining that although the finished producting was gorgeous it took a VERY long time.
