Where can I get heavy stock ecru cards so I can make my own direction cards? Will heavy stock paper go through a printer without it bending?

Re: Paper Question
Michaels has the small size 5x7 and full sheets. They come in a pack of full sheets.

Re: Paper Question
If I was you...I wouldnt get too heavy of a paper for directions. Remember the more you put in the envelope the more its going to weigh.
You can buy #65 cover weight paper at Staples and they come in all colors. That will be heavy enough for the direction cards! That weight paper goes through my ink jet printer just fine!

Re: Paper Question
Thanks! Good point on the weight! My invitations already weigh a ton! Do you get a bulk rate at the post office for sending out a lot?? LOL!! I'm serious!

Re: Paper Question
LOL...dont we wish they gave bulk rates!!
The direction cards can also be made from nice copy paper (in the ecru color). Its oinly the directions. People are going to throw it away as soon as the affair is over!! I would spend too much $$$ on the direction cards

Re: Paper Question
I agree, try not to tip the scales too much with the direction cards! They have alot of different papers at staples & office max thay would be more than fine.
I used linen paper (I got it in the resume paper section)...it is still light...and it matched well...

Re: Paper Question
I was using stock paper for something else (65) and it kept jamming up my printer. I had to do all 100 sheets 1 at a time. What a pain in the ace!

Re: Paper Question
I went to the Pick Quick - The Paper Superstore located at 700 Broadhollow Road (Route 110) Farmingdale (Phone 631-845-5325 or 631-845-5285). Lizlen recommended it & it has a wonderful selection!
