Paper question for Scrapbookers

Paper question for Scrapbookers

In place of a guest book book we are going to give each guest a card to write us a brief message. I'm planning on putting these messages in my scrapbook along with a photo of the guest at the reception.

I bought 'cover-stock' cream paper. But now realize it does not say 'Acid-Free' Do you think it is safe to use in my scrapbook?? I can return it so please be honest.

Thanks!

I am not a real stickler for the acid free thing but because of the personal messages from your guests I would exchange the paper.

Are you going to give your guests acid free pens to write with?

Yes, I picked up Gold and Silver Acid-Free gel pens that are really neat. But did not realize the paper was not acid-free.

I would just return it and get the acid free- better to be safe than sorry, ya know?

To be honest, I wouldn't worry about it - how many years will go by before the paper changes/discolors anyway?!

My notecards from my wishbowl aren't acid-free either - I'm not sweating it
