Paradise Bridal Brides

How long before your wedding did your dress come in?

How many fittings did you need?

My dress isn't due to come in for another 2 weeks and I am getting a little nervous.

I ordered mine in Feb of '09 for my June '11 wedding and it took 15 months to come in. Obviously they weren't in any rush but it does take time depending on the dress I'm sure. Did they call the company and find out an ETA??

I ordered my dress at the end of this past february and I just got the call last week that my dress is in. they told me that they schedule fittings 6-8 weeks before your wedding date. I am going to schedule my first fitting at the 6 week mark.

Hmmm... I feel like I am going to be cutting it close but hopefully all will go well so it won't be a problem.

I ordered mine in February and it came in the end of May/beginning of June. It totally depends on the manufacturer. Don't worry, your dress WILL be in on time. Paradise Bridal was great for me- they went to great lengths to make sure everything was right with my dress. Just stay on top of them, keep checking in. Good luck!

I am going for my first fitting today and my wedding is 38 days away..It came in about 4 weeks ago though

I ordered my dress in January2010 Form Paradise and was told it would be in in October 2010 and that they would hold it for me until my wedding in July 2011.

When i called about a week ago to ask about BM dresses I figured I'd ask if they had the status of my dress. She said the dress is done and is waiting delivery. The delivery date is May 2010. 2 months before my wedding! Now I know why girls lie about their wedding date. I asked if my dress could come any earlier this way i knew it was at least on LI and didn't have to worry she moved the delivery date to January. They are all so nice there.

I ordered mine in September and it arrived about a week before Christmas.

I had 3 fittings total and then came to pick up the dress.

I started my fittings a little under 2 months out from the wedding and went in about every 3 weeks.

After reading these posts I called paradise to check on the status of my dress and they said it should be here in 2 weeks! I ordered it in April/May and my wedding is not until June 2011! I am so relieved that it is in...I recommend calling to check the status!
