Paradise Bridal Brides in Patchogue!

Hi Girls,
For anyone who ordered their wedding gown from Paradies Bridal in Patchogue, well I ordered my gown from there and it is in, well they stated that they do not pull the gown from storage until your first fitting so I can't see my dress to make sure its even the right one.
Did this happen to anyone and if so how did you deal with it?

i had an awful experience with them... my advice to you is to pick up your dress and have it altered elsewhere... see my review for more details!

i hope it helps!!! I ended up having a great alteration experience at Fantasia... they were so nice there...

when i went to pick up my dress at Paradise, i just told them that my aunt was altering it for me... they didnt seem to have a problem with that...

I've already ordered my gown from Paradise and I took CJB's advice and I'll have it altered privately with a recommended seamstress. My salesperson didn't have a problem with that. No way am I spending this kinda money and nnot picking it up as soon as it arrives.
But after I just read the post about someone not having the correct dress I'm a little more nervous. They told me my dress should come in sometime in July.....I hope I hope I hope it all works out...this is one of the most expensive things I've ever bought....my first two cars cost less than this dress....

I called them a few months ago and my dress had come in so if I were you I might call them to see if the dress came in

I am seriously considering picking up the dress and having a seamstress alter it.
Can you reccommend anyone?

They ordered it in early May and said it would be in sometime mid-July. I called the first week in June and they said I should call back in late June to find out the status. I really don't know how they can tell how the status of it.
I haven't yet met with my seamstress, but she sounds great. I got her name and # from julz33 on LIW.

Call again and speak with someone else. I was able to see my dress in advance when it came it. My dress came in all wrong from the manufactor with the hollow to hem. Paradise totally stepped up and took care of my situation. I had a brand new perfect dress in five days.

Two of my friends used Paradise for there weddings and all great things. I think it is like anything some have great stories and some don't no matter where you go.

i hate paradise.........if my dress was 1 cent from them id pass it up!!!!!! ERRRRRRRRRRRRRR

grab your gown and go someplace else.....they are such %^&*$#%^$%%$&$#!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the advice ladies, I guess like someone said some people have great experiences and others have bad ones.
I will definately call again and see if I can see the dress, I will speak with a manager.

HEY GIRLS I WORK DOWN THE BLOCK FROM THEM AND I HEARD HORROR STORIES AS WELL AND I HEARD GOOD ONES TOO. I KNOW ONE WOMEN THERE AND SHE IS A DOLL. I COULD GO THERE AND GET A SAVINGS BUT I THINK I AM GOING TO TO FANSTIA IN ROCKY POINT. GOT MY MOH DRESS THERE FOR MOSSHYBOO WEDDING AND THERE WONDERFUL.

Yes I am definately going to go to Fantasia Rocky Point ~ very helpful and sweet ~ I heard great things about there seamstress as well...
