Paradise Bridal Brides-- What are your alterations capped at?

I am thinking of getting my dress here, despite the fact that I have heard mixed reviews because my good friends knows the owner, and I am doing some price comparison shopping on dresses and alterations. Do any of you girls out there know how much they cap alterations at? Thanks for your help.

I think the alterations cap was $250, but my alterations only came out to be like $70. However, they charged an arm and a leg for my bustle which broke in .5 seconds. HTH!

I think the alterations cap was $250, but my alterations only came out to be like $70. However, they charged an arm and a leg for my bustle which broke in .5 seconds. HTH!

Really? I did not even know you had to pay extra for that -- I thought maybe that was included in alterations. YIKES!!

Me neither!!! We were extremely shocked! We were never informed that there was an additional charge. We were also never informed if there were any other (less expensive) bustles we could do on the dress. But the alterations came out wonderfully!

I find that most places forget to mention the bustle is extra. And it can get pretty expensive too!If you have a french bustle with several points... You can exceed you alterations cap in a heartbeat!
