Paradise Bridal Help!

sooo I just got back from looking for my dress at paradise bridal... i had a helpful lady Lolita and found some strong possibilities BUT they would not tell me the designers!!!! so frusterating!!!! has this happened to everyone there? how can I order a dress without knowing who makes it and if Im paying a good price? plus, i want to find the pictures online to show people and look at again myself... im going to try to search a couple of designer sites but its so annoying!
otherwise the place is huge and very nice, i could see myself ordering it from there, so any experience to share about them??

its a scam some shops do - they don't want you findingout the desigher and going elsewhere (cheaper) to get your dress...

I went there and ordered my dress from Lolita. She is sooo soo soo sweet. The shop doesnt tell you the designer so you dont price hop. She did tell me it was a Maggie....but got the style number after I ordered it the same day. I think they rip the tags out of the dresses.

Paradise has by far been the cheapest and best priced bridal suite I have gone too...

thanks girls, I would feel comfortable ordering it from them but the whole designer thing annoys me. I searched and searched and finally found a couple I liked online!

if they would not tell you the designer, did they eventually give in and tell you if you said you had to know before you ordered??
there are still a couple I couldnt find and I know when I go back I will try on some new ones.

I also bought my dress from Paradise, and I love them all there. They have been great & accomodating. I was just there on Sunday and my bridal consultant is Patty, she has been so wonderful from the start and even more so after I bought my gown. As soon as I walk in, she says hello and remembers my name and even greets me with a kiss, very genuine. Just love them all there, great experience.

They are not suppose to tell you the designer, but my consultant said I am not realy suppose to tell you, but she told me anyways. Since she told me from the start I knew the designer, but I am certain they will tell you after you make your deposit and order the dress, and will give the style #.

Exactly! Burtons did that same thing to me! Actually, when I went to Bridal reflections in Massapequa, I worked with Darnell (WONDERFUL woman btw) and she said it's ILLEGAL for them to not tell me. Interesting huh?

I didn't go to Paradise, but at Bridal Reflections AND Lillette's, they both told me the designer, but not the style number. Lillette's told me the style number when I was ready to order.

You can look on their site and see what designers they carry and then check out the designers sites for the dress.
While my experience for my wedding dress there hasn't been bad, I would not recommend them for bridesmaid dresses.

Is this place good? I found 'the dress' there last week, and had Donna (the manager) help me. She told me the designer of the dress. I was so excited, and the best part was the sample dress was the right size. It was meant to be lol.

But now I'm hearing horrible things about them, and I'm doing some research on them. Now I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone else heard anything (positive or negative) from people that have actually bought the dress and had a fitting?

I bought mine at Fantasia and they gave me all the names and the style numbers - even wrote down the numbers of some of the bridesmaids dresses i liked..

I ordered my dress and my girls' dresses from Paradise. So far I've had only good experiences there, however, I did begin to hear negative comments as I began mentioning the name. Mostly people were giving me a heads up about issues regarding alterations. Apparently, you have to be very specific about how you want your dress/bridesmaid dresses altered. Other than that I haven't heard much else.

If they have the dress you LOVE and the price is right I wouldn't let these comments deter you. I am just keeping this in mind for when alteration time comes.

Yeah, they're awesome. I went there, but didn't find my dress there. I plan on taking it back for alterations though because they were so great!
