so i'm going dress shopping for the first time on wed!! i'm so excited! i am going to paradise and helen's. I know i have heard some mixed reviews about paradise, but it seems they carry the lines i like. so my question is to the ladies who have been to either...do you know which maggie's or enzoani's they carry? i'm so afraid i'm going to get there and the particular dresses i want to try on wont be there!!

Here are a few i def want to try on.... first two are enzoani austin then avery
If we don't have the actual gown, we have a few that look quite similar which is nice so that way you can see the style on you or might even like someting better! Bring the pictures for sure!

I just went to paradise last week and Lolita helped me. She was super sweet, very honest and very helpful. Although i didn't like the fact that they cut the tags out of their dresses so you couldn't see the designer and they wouldn't tell me who it was by. I tried to take pictures but i was not allowed to. I plan on going to helens this week because i actually saw the dress i loved at paradise in a fluke visit to the bridal suite in bay shore to just pick up a few dress catalogs. And low and behold i found out what designer made my gown.

yeah a lot of bridal salons do this with the tags and pictures (not my favorite either).i was not allowed to take pictures at any of the places I went..and i actually didnt go to paradise...i didnt know it existed lol glad you had a pleasant experience with Lolita.

i just don't understand why they do that. I mean if i went in looking for that specific designer or dress it wouldn't have made a difference. If you want my business why would you hide things? If you are afraid of brides going elsewhere compete with the pricing not keep everything a secret.

i understand and im not defending at all..i have talked to my managers about htat but o changes as of yet. Truthfully, as a bride who got my gown way overpriced at a salon that doesnt let you take pictures blah blah blah, i do think paradise's prices are definitely competitive. I wish I would have known about it when i went shoppin!

I didnt get my dress there but I'm def looking into BM and atleast the FMIL's dress there maybe my moms too but its a little out of the way for her since he lives in Syosset. They had a great BM selection when I was there for a friends wedding
