So my parents just came back from the Philippines with lots of wedding stuff. I was a LITTLE nervous as I didn't want them to buy me stuff that may not be my style.....
They bought me my ring bearer and coin bearer pillows. (beautiful and elegant.) My arrias which was made out of my grandmother's coins. My coin, cord and veil for the mass and my veil which wasn't finished being made but it's being sent over to us....
My mother bought the flower girl dresses. Not exactly my style and I don't want to hurt her feelings but I wanted something simple and she comes home with a flower girl dress with FLOWERS PAINTED ON THEM..... They aren't bad, they are kinda cute but really not what I envisioned at all.
Thoughts? Advice?

that was so nice of them- everything sounds nice but the dresses wouldnt be my style either- maybe it will grow on you?

I know, they are SO sweet. I love them so much... That's why, I don't want to hurt my mother's feelings about the FG dresses.

in regards to the FG dresses, explain nicely to your mom that the dresses are really pretty and you are so glad that she got them for you, but its not that you were thinking for your actually wedding day and enthusicially suggest that you'd want to use them for the RD, that way, they'll be pictured in them during a wedding related event.

I was thinking of that but I know her feelings will get hurt... I think this may be a case where I just have the girls wear it... Sigh....
