Parent Gifts?

Parent Gifts?

Still on gift mode...I need gift ideas for my parents...my thoughts were to get them a nice joint gift (ie show tix) and each an individual gift that will always remind them of my wedding day.

Dad - engraved cuff links? A handkerchief?

Mom - A Lenox MOB statuette? I would love if she could hold/wear something at the wedding - - a hanky for her too?

I got mom the Lenox piece but already gave it to her...I bought her a beautiful hanky that I will give to her the day of!

I am still torn on my dad...Cufflinks are beautiful but my dad rarely gets dressed up! What about a frame where he can put your wedding picture in it?

KB, to answer your question, i think Ray would like cufflinks. e will be able to wear them to my wedding
Seriously though, its something he can have to always remember your wedding and there are going to be more weddings in your family and babes born and christenings etc so many opps for him to wear a suit and wear the cufflinks.

I got the piece at Fortunoffs over the summer...When I ordered mine, they said it was discontiued...I know ebay carries it!

I'm getting my parents a double frame where I will put a 5x7 of me taking my first steps and a picture of me on my wedding day (you can leave that one blank and tell your parents what is coming) and engraved at the top of the fram will be 'Your Daughter Always'

I think we might get the parents Lladro statues. There are some really sentimental ones I like.

We got my parents a portable DVD player. (They like to travel) We got his dad got a nice Giants watch and his mom a necklace.

We are giving our parents the parent albums from our photo package as well as a small sentimental token for each of them (still trying to figure that part out! )

cool let me know what the sentimental token is.. i'm only given them the parent albums after the wedding..
