Parent gifts
I know this has been asked a million times - my apologies if this is a million and one. Please share what you will give/did give to your parents as a gift. I'm finding it extremely difficult because my parents don't need much and what they do need, I can't afford
Also, will you/did you give each of your parents a separate gift or will you/did you give one gift to both of them (if they are still together)?
TIA girls!

Amber, great idea. We're paying for the photog and the parent albums are included. I'm sure we could just give some meaningful keepsake at the RD and then the albums when they're available.

That's also a nice idea! Do you know their favorite restaurants? I'd consider sending my parents out to some dinner they wouldn't splurge on themselves.

Re: Parent gifts
We gave my parents a digital camera in the same shade of 'bridezilla blue' that the rest of our wedding details were. They had an old one that they never used because something was wrong with it, and I thought it might be nice to have for getting ready, etc wedding stuff. We got DH's parents a homemade gift cert for 'dinner with the newlyweds at a restaurant of your choice'
My parents paid for the majority of the wedding. DH's parents paid for the rehearsal dinner.

Wow! A digital camera? That was soo nice of you! My parents are together and are paying for the majority of the wedding. FH's mom gave us a nice amount towards the wedding and FH's dad will pay for the RD (but they're divorced). So we'll have to find separate gifts for his dad and his mom.
The dinner gift cert. was a great idea too!

Re: Parent gifts
We had their wedding photo blown up onto a canvas print and had it framed. My parents are so happily married and the picture was gorgeous. We also gave them an American Airlines gift certicate so they can go away somewhere warm this winter! For his Dad I got a monogrammed hanky and we bought him monogrammed cufflinks.
We got his mom a monogrammed hanky and a nice frame with some photos.

Re: Parent gifts
My parents are paying for most of the wedding, so we booked them a cruise. FH parents aren't doing anything except being difficult, so I don't know if we are even giving them anything.Welcome New Vendors
