parent gifts?

Do you give parent gifts if parents are not involved in wedding and did not contribute at all?

I think we are going to give FIL a night or 2 out at a play and a hotel. They are giving a small amount but they aren't people that like to do a lot. For my mom I think I am going to take her away for a mother daughter weekend some where. Or she can bring a friend!

We are...but it's small - just an 8X10 Lenox picture frame that I got from Rue La La...it was about $45 (but usually $85)
