Parent gifts

Parent gifts

If we are paying for the entire wedding do we have to give any additional gifts to parents..we are getting them albums made?

Though I want to get my mom something extra b/c she told me she is paying for my dress, shoes and veil

I'm not getting them gifts.

I am paying for their albums.

But I'm paying for the wedding myself.

We are paying for the wedding pretty much ourselves.

My mom is buying me my dress, veil and headpiece, and paying for the flowers...

His parents are paying for the limos and maybe the favors...

I am definatly going to get my mom a gift (she is a single mom and im her only child) im looking to get her a mother daughter figurine... (trying to find a lladro piece if anyone sees or hears of any). FH hasnt decided if he is going to get his parents anything yet but knowing him he will...

We are also paying for their albums but they came with our photog package

Thanks ladies..just curious what others are doing when they are paying for their wedding

So I should be fine with the albums...and something extra for my mom

I am. even if they weren't giving money I planned on it. I think for FH parents we are getting them a dinner cruise and my mom I think I am taking her on at 3 day bahama trip

So far my parents aren't helping, but one set of FH are. They are all getting a slideshow (made by the photographer and in a leather box), probably a large print, maybe in a frame, probably an album made by me, and I might get some other small memento type thing. I saw these embroidered handkerchiefs with poems on them.
