Is everyone getting parent gifts? If so what are you getting them? I have no clue!!

unless they decide to pay for the wedding then no...obviously, i'll get the parent photo album for them, but that's most likely it. i think me no longer being their 'responsibility' is gift enough!

They are paying for the wedding and yes I did get parent photo albums....so maybe thats all we will do I didnt think of that as a gift. Thanks!

A gift card to a nice restaurant would also be a sweet gesture... even if they are not paying for it they did give birth to you

well we are making them both albums after the wedding but we are also planning on getting each of them something else as well. Since my parents are divorced I will be getting someone each but FH's parents we might do one gift for the both of them, but we'll see (we have no idea what to get at this point).

We get parent albums included in our photography package. We would like to get them a weekend getaway or something, if that's too expensive then we will prob do a gift card to a nice restaurant or something.

I concur with MrsVToBe ... We would LOVE to get them a cruise but all depends on budget. If not a nice little getaway! The parents albums are a given!

Its only my mom and his parents. so they are getting the parent portfolio's.
I'll probably get my mom something else since she's paying for the majority of it, but she's insisting no.

I think if your parents are paying for the whole shebang then it would be nice to get them a weekend away. Maybe AC or Myrtle Beach. But if your like us and your parents are contributing very little then I think just parent albums are appropriate.

My parents aren't paying for the wedding but I made albums on Shutterfly of our engagement photos and we plan on giving those to our parents and grandparents at the RD. We also plan on getting them parent albums for after the wedding.

that is such a good idea! We never gave them pictures from the photo shoot so that would be a nice gift to add onto whatever else we plan on giving them!
