We actually spoke with our parents and together we decided to do one framed picture with everyone in FH's family and then one of my family. Our parents would rather have something on the wall rather than a book that might collect dust.

for my parents we did a gift certificate and then i got each of my parents a special gift - they each got the bride/mother and bride/father precious moments figurines and i also got my mom a charm for her pandora bracelet that said mother/daughter on it - sort of that friendship bracelet type charm where she keeps one half and i keep the other. it's sterling silver but not pandora brand bought it on amazon

We are going to be giving them each an album of pictures from the wedding as well as a framed picture. HTH
