I would really like to send FH parents on vacation too.
FMIL has had it rough the pass 2+ year... she taking care of FFIL after he had a stroke... I don't think she has ever gone on vacation.

Hopefully if my father finish building his house in Barbados they will be able to go.

As for my parents.... I am not sure.

My parents are contributing a lot to our wedding so we're getting them a one night broadway package. it includes a one night stay at a top NY hotel, tickets to a broadway show and a gift certificate to a restaurant in the theater district. i wish i could do more but with the bills we have this is all i could do. FH's mom is getting the parent album from us as a TY gift.

We're definitely getting both sets of parents a TY gift, just not sure what yet. We'll probably do B'way tickets for my parents because they love the theatre. FH's parents are much harder to buy for.

We're paying for everything from reception hall to favors but I am sure both sets of parents will be giving generous gifts at/after the wedding. We couldn't afford to give them anything substantial right away.

I'm paying for my mom's hair and make-up. She wouldn't take anything from me anyway. So thats the least I can do.

i also want to send them on a mini vacation since 2 months before the wedding is their 25th anniversary. I gotta see how the funding is til then

parent albums, and im getting mom and MAYBE FMIL embroidered hankerchief and dad too...and maybe smtg else not sure yet
