PARIS IS BACK IN JAIL!!!!!!!!

a snippet of the article--but judge orders her BACK to prison. can i get an A-MEN!

LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A judge has ordered Paris Hilton returned to jail to serve out her 45-day sentence for a parole violation in a reckless driving case.

She was taken from court screaming.

'It's not right!' shouted the weeping Hilton. 'Mom!' she called out to her mother in the audience.

Earlier, a crying Hilton was taken to court in a police car Friday for a hearing on her early release from jail.

Hilton appeared to be in handcuffs when she was placed into a black-and-white patrol car, which sped away from her Hollywood Hills home with lights flashing. Paparazzi sprinted in pursuit and news helicopters pursued overhead, broadcasting live TV coverage.

The police car arrived at the courthouse and disappeared into the underground parking lot. Inside, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer listened to the city attorney's complaint that Sheriff Lee Baca did not have the right to reassign Hilton to electronically monitored home detention after only three days in jail for violating probation in a reckless driving case. this whole thing is just a circus. i'm really tired of hearing about it - i could give a crap about what happens to her and her dumb self.

Interesting choice of words...

They just showed the caravan taking Paris back to jail stopped IN FRONT OF THE CIRCUS.. LOL.. and the commentators pointed it out.

btw..

Regardless .. a lot of the lawyers are saying that the original order of 45 days was ridiculous.. that NOBODY gets 45 days in jail for a first time DUI let alone for driving with a suspended license.
They do not believe she has gotten special treatment.

In fact they just showed the sentencing for the lady that killed her husband that got approx 250 days in jail.. so they cant say that Paril is getting special treatment.. if anything.. she is getting wrongful treatment and is being over sentenced.

I'm not a Paris fan either, but I do have to say that I have heard that this is a really harsh sentence for what she did and is not the norm. I work in a law firm and some attorneys hear agree that is was a harsher sentence probably because she is a celebrity.
You and I probably would have paid a large fine and had our license taken away, not put in jail for 45 days. But I'm not a legal expert so maybe I'm wrong...

ok, don't shoot me, I hate her as much as the rest of you, but for some reason I feel bad for her...I hate seeing people cry and I think that the media is out of control...all I really have to say it that is REALLY s***ks to be her right now-which still doesn't excuse her actions, but honestly, nobody needs that much attention when they are at their worst. IMO

I agree, they should just leave her alone. She is paying for what she did and nobody else would get this kind of attention so let it be already!!!!

She should have to do her time!!!!!

I am still appalled that it was live tv though when we are at war and they don't cover any of that live or really even focus on all the soldiers who lose their lives fighting for us!!! It is ridiculous that Paris is news and our soldiers are not!!!! I don't give a rat's *** about her!!!!!

It actually was her second DUI offense, though and she violated her probation by driving with a suspended license...so she had numerous opportunities to comply with the law and she did what she wanted anyway.

How many chances should one person get before they kill an innocent bystander?

I think it's ridiculous how much attention this story is getting. I really couldn't care less about her. With that said. I'm glad they threw her butt back in jail. Whether she got a harsher punishment or not, it seems clear that she feels that she is above the law. She deserves to be punished for what she did whether she has tons of money & fame or not.

EXACTLY. Her license was suspended BECAUSE of DUI. She absolutely deserves this sentence.

If anything, she deserves it more than the average person - there are few ways for a person like her to learn a little responsibility - and keep in mind, this is a person who little teenage girls idolize and dress like and imitate. They ALL need to see that there are consequences - especially her.

Well said! She's a spoiled brat who's gotten away with these things too many times b/c she's rich and 'famous.' Why shouldn't people of that status apply to the same laws that normal people like us do?

I feel bad too...imagine being in her shoes...she had a first offense DUI and then drove w/ a suspended liscense...no one else would've gotten jail for that- they are making an example of her.

If she gets jail for it- so should every other DUI offender- and I believe that jail SHOULD be the sentence for EVERYONE who drinks and drives...but to single one person out is unfair.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!

How many times are we going to let her do whatever she wants and drive drunk before she KILLS someone?!! HER, more than ANYONE, should be able to provide herself with a chaffeur at ANY and ALL times-- with ALL of her money she should never have a problem GETTING AROUND

Would those who 'feel bad' still feel that way if she KILLED someone you love??? If someone you love was trying to do the RIGHT thing and drive home RESPONSIBLY and sober-- then who should we feel bad for? I feel bad for all the innocent people on the road with her drunk a$$ just trying to get home in one piece.

I feel bad for people like my friend who was killed by a drunk driver at the age of 20 and will never be able to enjoy life like we all enjoy everyday-- I just did the walk for MADD the other day in his memory. They have a memorial wall on the campus of Farmingdale College-- it states the names and age of each person killed... I can't tell you how many 12 year olds I saw, THREE year olds, infants, 17 year olds, 19 year olds, etc. The people on that wall were MOSTLY under the age of THIRTY... It's disgusting. We need to start being harsh with people LIKE PARIS who don't give a damn about the rest of us on the road... People like that SOB that decapitated the little flower girl on the meadowbrook two years ago.

So, yeah, NO I don't feel bad and I think the sentence was totally justified for not only her second DUI but her total disregard for the Law and the fact that she had a suspended license.

And I don't have anything against her personally- she doesn't bother me at all and never has before- I have a problem with ALL drunk drivers who don't care about anyone else on the road.
