Paris or Projekt bands

Any feedback on Paris or the Projekt? Which one would you recommend?

We booked Paris for our wedding. We went to a showcase and we just loved them. I never saw projekt so I could not help you with that. I know that Paris was very impressive.

i saw projekt in june '03 at my friends wedding, they were AWESOME! We had such a good time with them.

I am/was torn between them. I would say call SOundcheck and get the tapes. That is what we did. It is all a matter of taste really, at least I think. Projekt has more people (12 vs 9) and more of a wind section. They also have more main singers 4 to 5. Paris has 3 but, in my opinion, are very strong. But regardless they are both great. We have Paris saved for our date and we are going to the showcase at Russo's on the Bay tonight. If we couldn't get Paris we would have booked Projekt without a second thought.

My DH and I were going to use them. We saw their sales video from the band's company, SoundCheck Entertainment which they own at least 6 bands. As we were watching their video the sales lady turned off the TV because they were quickly reserved for another wedding on the same exact date and year as ours. Thus, we opt to use another band from SoundCheck Entertainment--The Projekt. They were GREAT!

Might be a good idea to post this question to the recently marrieds also -- they have the most knowldege about important stuff like did they show up on time, honor do not play, etc.

We saw tapes for both Paris and Projekt....both of them are great but we saw Projekt at a showcase and booked them on the spot. I can't wait to see them at our wedding!
