Park Wedding - Advice?

I'm planning to have my ceremony in the Roslyn Duck Pond (aka Gerry Park) by the Gazebo. I will be renting chairs and decorating the area. Has anyone been to an outdoor wedding in a park ? Do you think a microphone was used? needed? Anything you liked about your friends park wedding-that might help me? txs!

Park Wedding - Advice?

My future in-laws went to a park wedding last week. Although it was beautiful, here were some of their gripes: there weren`t enough chairs for the guests during the ceremony and no one could hear the officiant. There wasn`t a microphone and his voice got lost in the wind. Also you should probably make sure there is a shady area or rent a tent for some of the older guests. Good Luck

Get mics

I definitely recommend microphones. I've been to two outdoor weddings and could not hear a think the bride and groom were saying. All I could here was the minister.
