part time med. office job available

Hi, we are looking for someone to work 16 - 20 hours weekly in our GI/general medicine office. Duties would include being friendly, answering phones, doing referrals, calling in prescriptions, pulling charts, etc. It is a very friendly office, two doctors and one nurse practitioner. It can get busy sometimes! I believe it pays between 10 - 12 dollars an hour, and medical office experience is definitely preferred. There is a very slight chance that the hours could be increased closer to full time - but this cannot be counted on. They will only consider people who are seeking part time employment. hello! i just read your post and to be honest i really wansnt looking for a
job! but as i read it is sounded better and better! right now i am working
with the family at our own business! it gets kind of rough. i work with
them,live with them....im sure you can picture the rest! so when i read your
post it sounded great but theres only one thing where is the office located?
i do have a little experiance- i used to be a med.receptionist in a
chiro/rehab office! so im pretty familiar with the phones,comp.data
entry,filing,appt's..... i curious to know the hours and like i said before
the location! looking foward to hearing from you-kristyn

hey, sorry, the office is located in Rockville Centre, right behind Mercy Hospital. The hours are very flexible, either 4 mornings or 4 afternoons a week, I think they are leaning more toward the afternoons though. The important thing is that it will prob not turn into full time. I got them a great applicant through this site a while ago, but when she went for the interview and said that eventually she would need full time they were no longer interested. It's a great place, let me know what you think!
