participant gifts

are you giving gifts to the readers for the wedding? gifts to the people who present the eucharist? Also are you giving them a corsage or boutienerre(sp?)

My readers are my Aunt and two of my sister in laws. They will all have corsages and I got them each something from Things Remembered

I am giving my readers and eucharistic ministers coursages and boutineers, but I did not get them gifts. I was going to but I was told by quite a few people that it isn't expected or necessary.

Our readers are our aunts and our godparents are going to be bringing up the gifts. Each one of them will get a corsage/boutinnere and a gift. They are each getting

Then we are going to take a picture with each of them the day of the wedding and have a 5 x 7 made for them to put in the frame.

I'm going to give them gifts worth approx $25. I only got one reader (my cousin) something so far - I got her a spa kit from drugstore.com that has lavendar lotions, soaps, washcloth, lip balm, etc. I'm not sure about the others yet. I'm not giving them corsages. I don't like corsages - the moms are going to carry 3 long calla lillies tied with ribbon - they agreed that corsages were old fashioned and we're giving our grandmas corsages, but thats it. I may give the readers a flower of two to hold and carry up there but I'm not sure.
