Anyone have any opinions on Parties Alive for music? We met with them tonight and I really like them a lot and they gave us the most amazing price if we book within 24 hours so I am just trying to get any feedback I can. :) Thank you in advance.

Here is my opinion- They were annoying and wouldn't stop calling me even after I told them to stop.
ETA: If they gave you 24 hours to make a decision in order to get an 'amazing price' then I feel they are pressuring you to book on the spot. Anyone who pressures me like that doesn't get my business. Btw, they probably say that to everyone and I bet the price wouldn't change if you got back to them in a week. It's just a tactic they use to get you to book so soon without thinking it over.

we saw them at a showcase. sorry to say we did not care for any of the mcs.
everyone has different taste and needs. they might work for you.

Thanks for the feedback. :) Its great to have somewhere to go to get different opinions like this site.
I experience the phone calls from basically every vendor, especially the ones from LIweddings, but I actually contacted them after seeing them at a showcase cause the laid back style of one of their MC's is what we were looking for. A lot of other MC's I have seen are a little too much for my liking.
And the price was good in general, he just said he'd knock another 150 off for booking in a day.
I was hoping for more responses from people who had actually seen them at a wedding or event and I did some searches and got some info so that was helpful too.
