Has anyone booked a party bus? I have a bunch of older relatives from Brooklyn who need to be transported to Smithtown and then back at the end of the night. I would like to provide the transportation, but I'm nervous about what the price will be...ahh! Anyone have quotes? I would need a 30-passenger for 10 hours.
Thats going to cost you a lot I think. I mean for us it's $750 for 4 hours with Trans Star in Deer Park for a 32 pass. For 10 hours I can only imagine it'll be a lot.Would you consider using shuttle vans or only a party bus?
From all the quotes I received you should be looking at at least 1000+ for all day. Good luck
I heard of some people using a school bus company. Supposedly it is a lot cheaper. I haven't looked into it yet bc I am waiting to see how many book in the second hotel block I have to see whether or not it is worth it.
just for comparison, a trolley costs between 1000-1100/1200 for only 3-4 hours. I wouldnt recommend a trolley anyway for old folks and travelling from brooklyn to smithtown anyway. woodseats, even covered with a bit of cushion wouldnt be that comfortable for that long of a period.
I got a great price from Frank at Coachman for a 26 person party bus for the full day. Try giving him a call.
We booked a party bus for us and a Coach bus for the OOT family. The party bus was booked through Camelot.
You will definately save with a school bus. We did.
We used Royalty Limos for a little less than $1000. Check into having it for just the beginning of the night and then at the end.
I think a coach bus or school bus is a good idea. Also, consider looking into Peter Pan. I haven't gotten a quote from them yet, but just like coach I know they charter rides and since you would only need them for a ride there and a ride back at the end of the night, it wouldn't be too expensive.
