so, my wedding is in late April and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want my CH outside.
we are figuring the evening temp to be somewhere in the 50's. I want everyone to be able to enjoy themselves without shivering in their dresses and heels (my concern is mostly for the ladies) so....
I was thinking of creating a pashmina basket (similar to a slipper basket) there will be approx. 60 ladies at my wedding, so I thought some combination of like 40 black and 20 ivory pashminas would be a nice (and warm touch) I spoke to a vendor who would sell them to me for $3.50 each....
what do you girls think...I am nuts or what.

I think that it is your day and you can do what you want. That is pretty nice and I would love to be a guest at your wedding... :)
I would wait though and make sure all the BIG things are taken care of and if you want get them at the last min.

I was thinking of doing the same thing, since I will be having a beach wedding in October. Where are you getting the pashminas from? That is an excellent price and really thoughtful of you!

I think it is a great idea. REALLY great. When you think of what slippers end up costing it isnt that much more. You could wrap them rather tight in a roll with a pretty satin ribbon. Or even a ribbon that has your wedding date on it! I wish I thought of that!
