Pashminas-UPDATED at bottom

are you girls buying the real deal of the 'pashminas' the street vendors sell.

I saw some in matching colors for my girls...not for the wedding, but just as another 'extra' gift to remember it by (and it's useful)...and they were $5.

for those that have/use the street purchased ones, are you satisfied.


I might be out of my mind...my girls have 3 gifts already...and NONE of them are their 'real' present! but they are good girls.

I buy those all the time in all different colors. Of course I'm happy, it's $5, and it keeps me warm - the mere purpose of it.

I think it'll be great b/c it's something in addition to the other gifts you're already getting them!

I just walked by a place on Broadway, but downtown, in the financial district. right outside of Ann Taylor Loft by the R & W Whitehall stop.

damn...does no one rock pashminas...or does no one want to tell me I am being cheap!

I don't have a bridal party to buy things for, but I rock a (faux) pashmina every now and again.

so I am curious, what is the 'real' gift?

I bought 3 of them today- 2 aqua and one bright pink. even though they (probably) won't be using them day of, the color will remind them of the day whenever they were it! (because of course they should think about my wedding day forever )
