Passing along a little advice for thos marrying in sunny months

I was at a friends house this weekend and I was engaged in conversation with a newly engaged girl about our weddings. When she heard I was getting married in June she recommended sunscreen for the BMs, especially fair skinned ones. She said when her sister was married June of 2005, she got sunburned standing outside of the church. She said you could see the gradual pink to red in pictures! I never thought of this! So I am planning on giving my girls a little tube of sunscreen the day before the wedding, just in case!!

I never thought of that either...mine is a Sunday afternoon wedding, but most of the stuff will be inside. I will definitely point this out to the ladies though as the ceremony may be outdoors.

Omg, thank you so much!! I've been thinking about it leading up to the big day, but I didn't even think about getting burned the day of. We'll have to add sunscreen to the list of things needed!!

Thats so true!! When my sister got married last May, one of her BMs got sun burn really bad, and by the end of the nice was putting ice on her arms..

That is great advice. My brother and SIL got married in May and she was totally sunburned from taking pics outside before the wedding. And she gets all splotchy, so it was bad :( She was still beautiful, but you can totaly see her sunburn in the pictures.

I fry like a fork in the microwave which is part of the reason I am getting married at night in January!!!!
