HEY LADIES,, I HAVE A QUICK QUESTION I AM LEAVING FOR MY HONEYMOON MAY 15TH;; FOR THOSE WHO HAVE APPLIED FOR YOUR PASSPORTS HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO COME,, DOES IT REALLY TAKE 4 TO 6 WKS OR IS IT LONGER,, I AM AFRAID IT WONT COME IN TIME,, SHOULD I DO THE EXPEDITING PROCESS WHERE IT TAKES 3 WKS,, JUST WONDERING HOW LONG IT ACTUALLY TAKES.. THANKS!!!

Go down to the post office and tell them that you need it immediately. I got mine in 3 weeks. I hope this helps!

we had ours expedited and it took about 10 days. i know that it WAS taking longer than 6 weeks back when they changed the passport requirements because more people needed them and they were backlogged. a friend of mine put her application in (not expedited) and it only took 2 weeks. it's important that you make sure everything is PERFECT because even the dumbest problem--missing info, bad pictures, etc.-- can hold it up for a while. i imagine you should have enough time between now and may.

YOU CAN GET IN IN 2 WEEKS IF YOU PAY EXTRA... OR IF YOU HAVE YOUR TICKET AND TAKE IT TO NYC THEY WILL GIVE YOU ONE QUICKER

first, wow caps lock is not fun for anyone! lol
i think you'll get your passport in time without expediting it. but i would def go this week and do it. if you wait any longer it'll get iffy.

from what i understand this is the busy time of year to order it, so it takes LONGER! my parents were in the same situation last year needing to go to canada, and they got it 4 days before their trip.....in total it took 8 weeks to get them!

I just went down to post office on Saturday to do this for FH. Was told 4-6 weeks.
