PASSPORT QUESTION

i sent in my passport application last friday. and i went to check the status and there processing it already. how long does it take after that to get it.

probably 6-12 weeks. I did mine about a year ago & it took 4 months.

6-12 weeks, is about the time.

I did mine rush cause I needed it by the end of may (begining of april) and I got it in 2 week.

If you get it around summer time its longer than that.

i ddint do rush and i can remener the exact day but i went sometimein July and me and FH got ours this past monday!

Depends on if you did it expediated or not....I did that and FH got his in 7 days, and i got mine in 9 days. If not, ive heard it takes 12 weeks, but I know people that were there that applied in December, January and still didnt receieve them, and this was in April.

I just spoke with the National Passport office today and DH went to our town hall to apply today and got the same info the national office told us. They are currently caught up with all applications so they are back to their normal timeframe and are not as overburdened as they were recently. 6-8 weeks for non-expedited, up to 3 weeks for expedited. HTH!
