you don't change your name on all your documents until you get back from the hm right? bc you can't do it without your marriage certificate?

Yes leave everything as your maiden name...

It depends on where you get it.

A lot of LI girls got theirs right away.

We got ours in Brooklyn and it took just over a month. But I was able to keep my maiden name and put a space between it and my DH's last name. So it was a toss-up... I would've liked to have my marriage certificate sooner, but I'm really glad to have both last names with a space between them.

Yea you def leave everything as is if you are going on your HM right after the wedding. But 99.9% the hotels and/or resorts refer to you and Mrs. So&so anyway
