Passport Question for honeymoon

So we're going on our honeymoon the day after our wedding. i will be taking his name however my passport and liscence will still say my last name im assuming because it takes time to change names. so when i buy air tickets and stuff it should be under my maiden name?

am i right or wrong?

Yes, book your plane tickets under your maiden name it has to match your passport. You won't be able to change your name on your license or passport until you get your official marriage license in the mail and you won't have that until you get back from your HM

Thanks girls!! I need to get that name change kit because I have no idea what to do or how to do it when it comes to changing my name.

I just changed my name and it was way easier than I thought. I went to the social security office in Huntington first, then the DMV, and just sent my passport away to be updated. I thought I was going to have to wait at the SS office forever, but it was actually super quick. But definately by your plane tickets in your maiden name!!!
