Re: Passport update!!!!!!!!!
I swear, this is a load of crap - they should have KNOWN there'd be a huge influx of applications and should have been better prepared. Then again, my FH got his in 3 weeks (and did NOT expedite it) so I can't complain at all, but I just don't get it! Good luck to everyone getting theirs soon!

This what I have been saying...what did they think would have happened when they said that we all needed passports???!?!?!?! It's so frustrating.
We applied in April because we knew it would be backed up...still haven't received our passports either Good thing we have some time, but still, it's very frustrating. They have NO problem taking your money ASAP!

Re: Passport update!!!!!!!!!
I see that you are getting married in Dec. I think you emailed me before. Did you order your invitations yet? What kind of flowers are you using? Thanks

we are using a lot of roses and Christmas greens for all our floral arrangements.

Re: Passport update!!!!!!!!!
you know you girls can go down to hudson street in manhattan and they do it for you within 48 hours---maybe even faster... it costs a little more, but so worth it when you are in a pinch...

Re: Passport update!!!!!!!!!
Well due to the influx of applications their has been a law that states that if you show that you have applied you will be fine other airlines are stating all you will need to board is a license and a birth certificate.

FH applied for his in April too and we're still waiting. But there's hope! Channel 7 said that you can get your passport in one day if you go to the passport offices (Manhattan?) within 14 days of your travel date. The catch is that you must have an appointment before going down to their offices. The appointment at least gets you in and you can have your passport that same day.
