passports

passports

who still have to get these? i was goin to go today but fh was like just wait till next weekend and we'll go together. we have 25 weeks left so i guess i can wait one more week. has anyone got theirs recently? was the time frame of 6 weeks accurate?

Fh & I still need to get our passports too. My wedding is one week after yours. I plan to take the pictures to day and then try to go to the PO next weekend. I woul dhave gone today but i had to come in to work last minute!

thats why we couldn't go together either, fh had to work. hes supposed to be off next weekend, so hopefully we'll go then. if not i'm going by myself next weekend and worse comes to worse FH will have to get his expedited for an extra $60.

I would do it as soon as you can. You are going to need your drivers licence and your birth certificate. They keep your birth cert. and mail it back to you with the passport. So if anything should happen (ex. lost in the mail) and i'm sure nothing will but this way you will have time to do what you have to do instead of waiting till the last minute.

PS- make sure your hair and makeup look good. The pic is for 10 years!

I need one pronto but where we are planning on going for our HM we don't need them but we still want to have them.

thanks for the tip. i will make sure i look hot! so 10 years from now when i look at the pic, i'll be like d@mn i did look good when i was 25!!!

I have to still get mine. But we have some time, being that we're most likely going away in late June early July. I'll go and get it done this week sometime. I'm not worried about it.

our came pretty quick but we did like two years ago when we went on a cruise -- I know now there is more of a rush for them since they are required to go almost anywhere now. so just don't wait too long.

also we got our photos taken at Costco -- it was like $5 instread of $15 from the Post Office. check itout

We haven't gotten our passports yet either...we were going to do it yesterday, but FH doesn't know where his birth certificate is and his parents were away..so maybe next weekend. We still have some time though.

I would go as soon as you can though since now EVERYONE needs a passport.
