Passports-important

They are no longer at the Rockefeller center location. They moved downtown. You cant just walk in anymore either. If you are traveling within 14 days you can make an appt to go there-with your tickets and other documents in hand. Double check my info but I am pretty sure this is right (my mother is a travel agent so she is pretty current on this stuff) and of course they do charge you more (I dont know the amount). Where are you going? ie, if you are going to the Carribean, you may not need your passport. Make this a priority to check out!

I called the manufacturer of the dress and they have my size in stock and they are overnighting it. But I do need to get it altered. I also need to find a veil and headpiece.

Passports

My fiance and I were going out of the country a couple of years ago and 1 week before we were leaving to gos we still didn't have passports. We went to the NYC city office and even though we had to wait in line about and hour, it took about 2-3 hours to process and we got them the same day (as long as you bring your pictures.) I don't believe it costs any more than to do it at the post office.

We went with pedestals they are right by my house and I know many people who used them and everyone liked them and had good experiences with them.

I don't think it will be enough. I suggest getting the phone # and calling to get info. Do you have a travel agent? I ask b/c sometimes they can help you out with it too (information)

This was almost 2 years ago, and we did show our tickets to them. I'm not surprised that they want you make an appointment. Even though the wait wasn't too bad (we went shopping)it was very crowded.

Better to be safe than sorry...Good Luck!
