Did you know that (I didn't realize this until my friend told me yesterday) that you include you and FH in the head count and have to pay for your plates as well? I totally didn't take that into consideration.

Isn't that ridiculous?? You pay $xx,xxx to host a weddding someplace and they can't throw two meals in for the bride & groom.

Yup, that's the way it works. You would think at least your plates would be on the house, but they nickle ad dime you for everything.

It's ridiculous. Like you said, YOU are hosting the party, you'd think they'd at least cover the 2 people everyone is there for!

I included me and FH in the head count. You know, my hall is even giving us a break on the pp price for our vendors (photographer, etc) but they still charge full price for us.
