My cocktail hour is 6 - 7:30. When does dinner get served? 8:30??

I met with him only a week before as well. He will give you the entire timeline. You do not need to worry about it. It also depends on whether or not you are doing appetizer then salad or the combo. Doing the combo saves you 20 minutes, or so they told me. They will also make sure you and your DH get served dinner WELL BEFORE anyone else so that you can eat quickly, then go around and thank everyone for coming while they eat.
The will not let you go a moment without knowing what is going on that night, trust me!
