Past brides just wondering did you get toasted on your wedding day?

Also for the ones that are getting married soon, will you have just a few drinks or none at all?

I was drinking champagne all night... but the night was long... and I spaced them out, so I was in full control.

I had a hard enough time keeping water in me. Yet, somehow my DH was trashed! But the dumba$$ was a bit sniffly and thought it would be smart to take a 24 decongestant before the wedding. Once you add a few drinks to that, DONE!!!!

I think it is very bad taste for the bride and groom to get drunk at thier wedding. They are the host and hostess of the party and if they had to much to drink then they did not spend enough time with thier guests. Just my opinion

hmm. I don't see how one has anything to do with the other. My drinks did not impair me from greeting every guest at my wedding. JMHO

I felt like I was drinking white wine all night, but probably only had a few glasses, which is nothing over a few hours! I didn't feel a thing.

Call me out on this if you will, but I don't think it's time or place to get drunk and risk not remembering it or feeling sick the next day! I had a few glasses, but I was fine. Honestly, you're so busy dancing and greeting people you won't have time!

Drank a few, then a few more at the after party...I was in no way wasted but I was feeling pretty good by the end of the night

I didn't realize until the night was over that I had hardly anything to drink all night. Yet somehow in pics, I'm holding a beer, a glass of champagne, a glass of wine...
I didn't want to get DRUNK but actually finishing one of everything mentioned above would have been nice !
