past brides please make me feel better -FUNNY UPDATE

I know 10 day forecast aren't THAT accurate but right now it says SHOWERS with 60% precipitation for my wedding!! =(((

Past brides who have experienced this, what was your 10 day forecast and what ended up happening?

I'm anxious and need to know!!
(hahaha)

UPDATE UPDATE.

ok this is retarded...
yesterday I was FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAKING out b/c weather.com said it was going to SHOWER on Sept 14th with 60% chance of precipitation...

Today, it says SUNNY with 0% ... not even PARTLY cloudy. JUST SUNNY.. with that big ol' SUN icon

well, I'm not a past bride but I wouldn't get upset yet. Weather reports are known to change throughout the same day even.

I check the 10 forecast when I go on vacations...they have always said rain and it ended up being beautiful instead

this is exactly what I needed to hear.

My sister wanted to hang up on me when I called her to b*tch.

It POURED on her wedding day...

at least our 'out door' area has a tent over it... She had to have everything inside.

i wouldnt mind overcast though... overcast photos are GORGEOUS.

thanks again ladies...

I'd say your better off looking into the farmers almanic, I've watched that, a lot for big events, and its always been right, and when I've checked the 10 day more then not, it was always wrong..

I drove myself to drink looking at the 10 day forecast. Please stop looking at it!!!!! It is going to change 1,000,000 times between now and then.

If it rains, you'll get beautiful umbrella pics!!

No worries....it will be a wonderful day no matter what!

DO NOT freak out until 2 days before - trust me! The weather went back and forth within 10 days before my wedding - 60% showers, sunny no rain, cloudy....Finally it settled on scattered thundershowers, and you know what? It was overcast but never rained, so I still got my outdoor pics and ceremony........ Also, I freaked out all the days beforehand....but the day of the wedding, I could care less if it rained, cause I was getting married!

Rain or shine - you'll have a fantastic wedding!

LOL. I was suppose to have thunderstorms on my wedding day up to the two days before! Instead the day was gorgeous! Sunny and Warm and keep in mind this was in the middle of November. The thunderstorms instead came the day before! Don't worry about it. Also there are some AMAZING photos that can be taken during the rain...I think there was a thread on here about that.

Do a search for MissingtheBGene's review. Her photos should inspire you, and make you WANT it to rain on your wedding day! (OK maybe not WANT it to rain, but maybe you wouldn't mind...)

Up until 2 days before my wedding, they were predicting thunderstorms.

It was a high of 80, sunny, and no humidity.

That said, STOP worrying about the things you can't control.

the weather reports said humid and it was a cool day for me - the day before we melted and the day of it was perfect..

the farmers almanac said thunderstorms and rain for my day but it was wrong!!

i noticed every site shows different weather too.. i liked yahoo's the best!!

Her pics look so pretty in the rain! I saw my RH's gardens in the rain and to tell u the truth, i actually liked the way it looked better... strange, but raindrops everywhere just give it an added touch... IMO at least A torrential downpour is something ottally different and would def ruin my day LOL

Look - You CANNOT control the weather. Whether it's a week before your wedding or an hour before your wedding, the weather is out of your control. Spend your time and energy on the things you CAN do and just let mother nature do exactly what she's going to do anyway.

Your day will be beautiful whether it pours or it's 95 and sunny. Know that!

Weather people only have to be right 30% of the time so you have a pretty good chance of it being a beautiful day.

DITTO

we all tend to focus on the ONE thing that we can't change---WEATHER! but trust me, you will NOT care about it at all on the big day even if it monsoons.

just stay away from the weather channel and enjoy the next week!
