Original post by B22

I know 10 day forecast aren't THAT accurate but right now it says SHOWERS with 60% precipitation for my wedding!! =(((

Past brides who have experienced this, what was your 10 day forecast and what ended up happening?

I'm anxious and need to know!!
(hahaha)

UPDATE UPDATE.

ok this is retarded...
yesterday I was FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEAKING out b/c weather.com said it was going to SHOWER on Sept 14th with 60% chance of precipitation...

Today, it says SUNNY with 0% ... not even PARTLY cloudy. JUST SUNNY.. with that big ol' SUN icon

you gals are right.... YOU JUST CANT TELL THIS EARLY.

Don't worry about the forecast. My 10 day forecast looked horrible, even the day of my wedding the weatherman claimed it was going to rain. Guess what it never rained and I had a beautiful sunny day.

Your day will be wonderful - don't stress over the weather.

Re: past brides please make me feel better

all i can say is that the one thing u can't control is the weather....my entire year of being engaged all i said was how 'I JUST DON'T WANT IT TO RAIN!!!'.....and well - it rained with hurricane winds!!!! trust me when i tell you, that day - not a THING will bother u..not even the weather! i was so worried about it raining, and that day i could've cared less! just remind urself it's the one thing u can't control and it will be what it's going to be. believe me, you'll be so freakin' excited - its not going to matter! u're marrying the man of ur dreams girlie!!!! (although i will do a happy no-rain dance for ya!) lol.

Way too early to tell!!! And even if it was closer you still never know! My brother is a meterologist (works for the National Weather Service) and the day b4 he was trying to warn me/prepare me for a crappy day ( I was getting so upset)! The weather held out all day, and when we got in the limo to head to the hotel it started to rain and within an hour it was a downpour! So try not to stress!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Forecasts are total BS up until 72 hours! Don't worry about it....even if you check 3 days before its still subject to change and most of the toher weddings I've been to when they predicted rain the sun was shining and it was a GORGEOUS day! Just be patient....it'll be fine!! This is from a girl getting married in APRIL!

i would justb rely on the forecast the night before that will give you a better idea to check it then

Caroline,

It is too early to tell. A forecast that predicts 60% chance of showers=it might rain, it might not. It might be sunny, it might be completely cloudy. It might drizzle, it might pour...wow, I could have made a killing doing my own weather channel-I would never be wrong, because I covered all bases!

Bottom line-1st, unless the forecast is 12-24 hours before, it is a guess
2nd-no matter what you will have a gorgeous day, marry your love, and have an amazing time. You will have tons of beautiful pics either way!

I have a friend who got married during one of our lovely ice storms in March-she raves that it was the best day of her life and her pics rock!

So don't worry!

Mine said RAIN and it POURED the day before but was beautiful and sunny on our wedding day! My mom was worried adn I actually was fine since I knew that was the ONE thing I really couldn't control...as my music director said---'it will at least be sunny in your hearts'!
