We're using the groom's name, which is unusual. We're paying for the wedding ourselves, and I'll be moving from my apt. in Brooklyn to his place in Great Neck in May, around the time the invitations will start coming back.
We could have used my name, I suppose, but I was concerned the mail carrier may not deliver them all if he/she is not familiar with my name. Probably wouldn't happen, but I'd rather buck tradition than risk losing the RSVPs.

We live together now and I had only my name put on the RSVP's. The women who did our invites said that is etiquette for just the bride's name, but who knows nowadays. This are done so differently. I feel it is your preference.

I'm not a past bride, but we live together and we put both of our names on the return address envelopes.
