Past Brides who used Bill Levkoff BM Dresses

Past Brides who used Bill Levkoff BM Dresses

We are ordering all the BM dresses from RK Bridal, so the BM have to give their own measurements.

Does anyone know what the regular street size translates into for Bill Levkoff size 8 and size 10?

Bill Levkoff do not run any where near street clothes sizes especilly if you have larger chested girls. At Lillette's they took all measurements and when according to the size chart that they have for Bill Levkoff dresses. I would have your BM take their measurement an order off the chart that way HTH

We used Bill Levkoff dresses. They are very different from street sizes. They go my your largest measurement. My cousin is about my size (probabl y around a street size 3/4) and her dress was an 8.

My sister is tiny too and her's was 10.

I would have your girls get professionally measured! BM dress sizing is so weird.

my girls are wearing BL and I wore a BL in my friends wedding this past summer...the girls are right- the sizes are in no way comparable to street sizes. they definitely have to go get measured using the BL size chart. HTH

Have your girls go to a local bridal shop and get measured. The sizing does not translate directly to a street size.

OMG I wore one for my friend's wedding. They made me order 2 sizes bigger than my street size and it was FALLING off of me. Should never have listened to the people at the store ... i would be careful.

They didnt have a cap? My girls alterations are capped at $80

They didnt have a cap? My girls alterations are capped at $80


I chose not to do it at the store... so took it to my tailor. They needed to do so much work to it to get to to like everyone else's. Lesson learned.......

def runs alot smaller than street clothes, measuer and go by his chart def

I dont know if this would help, but if your girls can take measurements this chart should be accurate to give them a size:
levkoff chart

I used their Maggie chart for my wedding gown and it was the exact same chart the bridal store had.

Why is that? I was at RK last week looking for my gown & they were fairly helpful...

IMHO, if the gowns do not fit, they will not look right, who wants to spend $250 per gown, for them not to fit right, go somewhere else, where they will take the time to measure their customers!

The difference is about 3 sizes...So if you are a street size 8, than you would order a 14.
