Past DUET Brides

Did you meet with your photographer prior to the wedding?

I just assumed you had to, then I was filling out their online wedding schedule form and I asked - they told me that submitting the forms is usually all they need, but if I'd like to come in and meet with them that's fine too.

I live in Brooklyn, so making the trip out there isn't something I can do any day of the week - but I will make as many trips as necessary to plan this thing right!
so I'm just curious, did anyone use Duet on their wedding day and not meet in person with them prior, just submitted all the required info and must take pics?? Did everything go smooth and as fantastic as I hear their work is?

We used Duet. We only met them three times before the wedding day--two pre-booking visits and the engagement photos shoot. I haven't received the proofs from our wedding back yet, but they've been pretty on top of stuff. We have seen our e-pics and are really happy with them. If it makes you feel more comfortable, meet them in personfor a final visit, but I don't think it's necessary.

Ok thanks! We actually only met with them once, we booked them on the spot and didn't do e-pics. But they were recommended by a friend who used them and I trust her judgement.

I just wasn't sure if it was better to go meet with them again right before the wedding, but if submitting the forms is enough then that's fine by me! I just wasn't sure if it was the norm.
