if there are any past thatched cottage brides on liw, i am really hoping one of you can give me some idea of your wedding cake. i haven't looked at anything the thatched cottage has done before, and i'm kind of nervous as i look online for cake ideas, wondering what they are capable of. if anyone can let me know that their cake was great, or not, or if you have pics in your albums definitely let me know.

the cake was delicious!!!!! I had chocolate cake with one layer of chocolate mousse filling, and one layer of raspberry preserves filling. White buttercream icing, and the forist decorated it with fresh flowers. It looked beautiful and was free! When you have your 3 month meeting, you will be shown a photo album with designs that are included and you just pick out which style you like best, and its included. I don't see any need to go any fancier with this or spend more, the cake was great! This was one thing we really didn't stress at all about!

I had 1/2 canoli w/choc chips 1/2 choc moose butter cream outside, yum yum! And they also put trays or pasteries on every table, that was a big hit. They are just awesome there!
I actually chose carrot cake. Its diff and it was yummmooooo......Im actually still getting people calling me about what flavor our cake was lol....You cant go wrong with ANYTHING food....they take pride in their work. The owner is the chef!

i had a red velvet cake, buttercream outside. ralph let me try a sample the week before my wedding and i loved it. the guests really liked it a lot. i wish i got to eat mine completely but i didn't get a chance to!
