As a young girl or young lady did you envision or dream about the way you would be prosed to? Did it happen that way or even come close?
i always envisioned the guy on one knee but never in one particular place.
i did not get the down on one knee but i got the special place

When I was younger I envisioned my proposal to whoever I would marry being on a beach, someplace romantic with the down on one knee. I never told FH this. No matter how he proposed it would still be special to me.
The actual proposal was done on our hotel balcony when we were in Virginia Beach which overlooked the boardwalk, sand and ocean. And he got down on one knee.

The proposal was awesome! We were on a cruise and it was our 3 year anniversary. He asked me in the formal dining room in front of everyone and he even got down on one knee.
The only thing that kinda took away the magic was that he ruined the surprise and told me he was going to ask me. We even went to pick out the ring together before we left. If he didn't spoil the surprise it would have been perfect!
Yeah, mine was suppossed to be on a cruise too, but a gf of mine blabbed about me thinkin it was gonna happen on the cruise so FH decided to surprise me like a week before we were goin on vacay... i got the 'will you marry me?' and down on 1 knee, but it happened in my kitchen in pjs...
not exactly what i had envisioned considerin the cruise woulda been totally different LOL

i was mad LOL... i was like 'here? now? i donty get a speech? thats not a real ring... this is all a joke... are you kiddin me?' i dont think i managed to get the word 'yes' out until like 10 mins later
hahaha i said the same thing - at first i was laughing and i was like what the hell are you doing (as he was getting on one knee!) but then i realized that he was really doing it

I always imagined being completely surprise and guy down on one knee with a pretty box and ring and I was lucky enough to get that.
I never told my FH about it either...so I had no choice but to say YES....LOL

i never really imagined it i just always hoped it was sweet & sincere & it was with an amazing person i would be with forever! AND IT WAS ALL OF THOSE THINGS!
