We are in the same situation. FH and I do not know which to chose. We are having pasta at the CH hour though so we might end up going with the intermezzo. I agree that it is lighter. The pasta might be heavy. Remember they already filled up on CH and salad (if you are having) and still need to have their main course AND dessert.

heyyy fellow villa girl!! I'm doing the intermezzo because the cocktail hour has sooo much pasta already and with all that food.. I thought it would be nice to do the intermezzo!!

I'd say the Intermezzo. It'll be nice to change it up, being that you have 2 pasta dishes already.

I say pasta - its more filling - and theres a lot more on your plate than the sorbet. They can have sorbet for vienesse hr (IMO)

Intermezzo. There's already so much food at the cocktail hour that you don't need to add extra pasta.

I would go with the Intermezzo. I have been to Villa Lombardi's, and their cocktail hour is great. I personally love pasta, but the Intermezzo is refreshing.

For the new menu CLM will have a choice between pasta and intermezzo but the pasta at CLM is soooooo good that we are going with the pasta even though there will be several pasta stations at the CH. I think you just have to keep in mind what your guests would like better.

I say the intermezzo. We have the same choice and we're picking the intermezzo. Our guests will be stuffed after the CH and plus it's a 300 person Irish wedding - they don't want pasta, they want beer!!!
